The making of COLD - a short film

I really need a producer! Yesterday Jutta told me that she can no longer produce the film. She is far too busy at her work and then she is leaving the country.
After a mild panic attack and mini depression I jumped on the phone and rang Markus from Bavaria Film. He suggested I talk to a woman named Sandra who works in production somewhere also in BF. She was busy at the time and told me to write her an email and she'll call me tomorrow. The second call was to the Hochschule fur Film und Fernseh. Munich Film School. The guy there, I forget his name (sorry), he told me to pin an ad on their notice boards and pointed me at www.crew-united.com which is a German film crew etc site. I placed an ad in here looking for a producer. Now I wait. On Sunday (after moving house) I will get together with Jutta and she will go over everything she has and has done, then hand it over to me. I'm really dissappointed that Jutta can't continue because I thought she was really great and I appreciate everything she did to help the film so far. Thanks Jutta.....and goodbye. Sob! Sob!

This stuff is just not fun. I wish I could just be thinking about my shots and doing storyboards.

On the weekend I looked through a bunch of casting sites and made a first list casting preferences for my two main characters. I also jotted down a bunch of production companies in Munich that I might approach to see if anyone is interested in producing the film.
